February 21, 2017 (Lake Geneva) — Twenty-one of Badger High School’s brightest students participated in the annual Southern Lakes Conference Academic Bowl on February 20 at Elkhorn High School.

The Badgers placed 3rd overall. The following three students placed first in their individual events: Anders Haldorsen (physics), Lillian Ward-Packard (British Literature), and Connor Duggan (Algebra).

Students compete in the Academic Bowl by taking written and oral exams in a number of subject areas in key academic categories, including as math, English and literature, science and social studies.

About The Lake Geneva Schools Community Report

Published every August a few weeks before the start of the new school year, the Lake Geneva Area Schools shares its annual Community Report newsletter. This newspaper-style publication is mailed to every household in our area and is also available here on our website. 

The purpose of the Community Report is twofold:

1) Inform our community on the successes and great things going on in our district.

2) Provide parents and students with information they need to have a successful start to the school year, including schedules, bus route information, important school updates, upcoming events, community education and more.
