Aryn Skilling

Art Education

Aryn SkillingHello, my name is Aryn.  You don’t know how excited I am to teach art to the students of Maple Park this year!  I will be working with our children to challenge them in all areas of art; expression, craftsmanship, the handling of materials, understanding concepts, art history, creative thinking, and reflection. As an art educator, I love to empower my students with rich art lessons that allow them to express themselves and make meaningful connections with the world around them through art media and the art process.  I received my bachelor’s degree in Art Education from The University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and my master’s degree in Teaching and Leadership from St. Xavier University in Chicago, IL.  This will be my 20th year of teaching art for Lake Geneva Schools.  I taught at Badger High School for two years, both Eastview and Star Center for six years, and only at Star Center for the last eleven years.

My husband Tristan and I have been married for 14 years.  We have two sons; Owen (7th grader at Lake Geneva Middle School) and Grayson (2nd grader at Star Center).  We all love to go hiking and swimming together and I love to watch my sons play baseball.

Together, let’s watch our children “BEE AMAZING”!

Anne Doebler
Music Education

Anne DoeblerAnne Doebler will be teaching music for Maple Park. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in music education with teaching certifications in PreK-12 General Music and 6-12 Choral Music. Her masters is in Curriculum & Instruction from National Louis University. Her professional life is a patchwork of beautiful opportunities that have allowed her to be home with her own children most of the time while still pursuing her passion—teaching. On any given day you may see her subbing at Woods or Star Center, teaching music at Lake Geneva Montessori School, or tutoring.

Anne is married to Neil, and has 5 children: 4 boys and 1 girl, aged 15 on down to 4. She loves Lake Geneva, and decided to move here 14 years ago to put down her family roots and has enjoyed all the great memories they have built as a family. She loves all that the area offers! She enjoys reading—especially mysteries—and having picnics by the lake with her family. Being a witness to her kids’ lives and activities brings her joy on a daily basis. She has two puppies named Indy and Oreo. They will both turn two in November and they make life a bit crazier in the best of ways! She looks forward to seeing all the students weekly and growing together as learners.
