March 26, 2020
Dear Lake Geneva Schools Families:
I sincerely hope all of you have enjoyed your spring break. With that, I know the COVID-19 pandemic has changed many of our plans and our way of life. As we end spring break, I hope all are healthy and stay that way. As you probably know things have changed since we started spring break. A summary of those changes and the impact on our students, families and schools follows. I sincerely hope we can return to school this year, but we will take the following measures to make the best of a difficult time. Once again, stay healthy and I wish all a successful fourth quarter as we complete the 2019-2020 school year.
On Tuesday, March 24, 2020, Governor Evers directed the Wisconsin Department of Health Services to issue Emergency Order #12, better known as “Safer at Home” prohibiting all non-essential travel with specific exceptions.
