We are quickly approaching April 6th, which is the date of the Lake Geneva Joint #1 District and the Lake Geneva-Genoa City UHS (Badger) District Referendums. As you may know, the districts are seeking citizen approval of three referenda questions. Approval of the three questions will successfully address future economic shortfalls in both districts and facility updates and large maintenance needs at Badger High School. The three referenda questions have been structured in such a way that, if approved, our tax rate will not increase. We have been working hard to communicate the needs of the districts and how these three referenda questions would address those needs. We would like to present the community with an opportunity to discuss this information in-person. Please join us on Monday, March 22nd or Tuesday, March 23rd for an informational meeting on the upcoming April 6th referendum. A brief presentation will begin each evening at 6:00 p.m., followed by Q+A. The meetings will be held in-person in the Badger High School Auditorium (220 E South Street - Enter Door B).
