Upcoming Lake Geneva Autism Spectrum Disorder Parent Support GroupsThe Lake Geneva School District and the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin are partnering together to offer a parent support group for parents/guardians of children ages 3-21 who have either been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or receive special education services at school under an Educational Autism label. This support group offers the opportunity to meet other parents, provide education on topics related to autism, and provide resources regarding other services and opportunities available to families with students either
diagnosed medically with autism or who are identified at school under the educational autism category. Angie Schubert, an occupational therapist in the Lake Geneva School District, will be facilitating the support group along with the support of a representative from the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin, Julie Quigley. This support group is offered free of charge for parents and guardians.

The group will meet yet this school year from 6:30 p.m. - 8: 30 p.m. on 9/12/18, 10/10/18, 11/14/18, 12/12/18, 1/09/19, 2/13/19, 3/13/19, 4/10/19, and 5/08/19.

It is not necessary to pre-register for this group. Please note that no childcare will be provided. Attend on whichever dates work for you.
