Registration & Enrollment

New Student Enrollment

Welcome! Lake Geneva Schools is comprised of two districts – Lake Geneva Joint #1 Schools and Lake Geneva-Genoa City Union (Badger) High School. We look forward to meeting your student.

Enrollment in Lake Geneva Joint #1 Schools and Lake Geneva-Genoa City Union (Badger) High School is open to all school-age residents within the boundaries of the school district and those from other districts who have been accepted through Open Enrollment.

In order to provide a more flexible approach to student registration, Lake Geneva Joint #1 Schools and Lake Geneva-Genoa City Union (Badger) High School are requiring an online enrollment process. This can now be accomplished on a computer with internet access.  If you do not have a computer or internet access, please come into the District Office located at 208 E. South Street, Lake Geneva, WI 53147. If you are already familiar with PowerSchool, you will log in the same way to begin the registration process.

To enroll your new student, you will need to provide:

  • Proof of residency (current utility bill or lease agreement) - PO boxes are not accepted as the sole address without a physical address

  • Your child’s birth certificate (If you need to get a copy of your child's birth certificate, you can call the Department of Health Services at 608-266-1373.)

  • Your child’s current immunization records

These items can be uploaded to our registration website or brought into the District office or school. If available, also please provide your student's transcript (grades 9-12 only) and current IEP or 504 Plan for students receiving special education services.

Let's get started!

School Messenger

School Messenger is the system we use to send mass emails and phone calls to parents. By enrolling a student into the school district, your email and home phone are automatically able to receive mass email messages and all calls generated by the district.

School Messenger also has the capability to send mass text messages to your handheld device. This is an opt-in program. By responding with a "Y" to the shortcode provided in the invitation text sent occasionally by the district, you will be enrolled and begin receiving text messages from the district. To receive an opt-in text, you must share your cell phone number and designate it as your home phone number in PowerSchool. You may opt out of any of these communications at any time by contacting the Director of Technology at 262-348-2180.
